Do you have speciality items such as a safe or piano? Be sure to ask for a list of speciality items. Also, have a moving date in mind but be willing to be flexible, if possible. Some moving companies charge a higher rate for weekend or evening moves. Some moving companies have days without any moves and may offer a discount to fill that slot.
